A: Our new AC installations have many variables such as electrical, ductwork, location of air handler/condenser, size of the system, load calculations if needed, energy efficiency preference and more. All of our units installed, if registered properly, come with a 10 year manufacturer warranty on all major components and we provide a 1 year labor warranty. Call us and we would be happy to go over all your options on a new AC unit and provide you with a free estimate.
Q: Do we need to have our ducts cleaned?

A: It is a myth that ducts needs to be cleaned as the air has to travel through an air filter and the evaporator coil which does not allow much through other than air. The other major aspect is that the majority of the ductwork in Florida being flexible duct which is made out of a plastic liner that will likely be damaged when attempting to clean. We do offer a ULV (ultra low volume) sanitizing spray system that can sanitize the ducts where we suspect there may be compromised conditions. We also offer many indoor air quality products that can be installed to help with many IAQ (indoor air quality) problems such as UV lights, air scrubbers, ionizers, and more.
Q: Do we need to have our A/C maintenanced?

A: Although your AC, if installed correctly and the air filters changed frequently, may not experience problems but the likelihood without proper maintenance is eventually it will run into a issues. We recommend our biannual maintenance plan on your air conditioner to help ensure there are minimal problems and to keep your AC running in tip top shape. This will also give you a discount on any repairs needed in the future. They don't make air conditioners like they used to as companies are constantly trying to cut costs in manufacturing and this is why we are seeing an increase of repairs needed even on newer units.
